The challenge to get in shape — first day

In our country the all new years fun starts in the Catholic Christmas. Therefore, we have already exchanged gifts with my husband, burned light trees, overeat sweets. On Sunday, December 27, we went to the beach, and here I offered a bet. To arrange a competition for who will look better after 6 months. Wins the one, who has the best and clearer change in shape and look. “Oh!” – effect.

We measured our weight, photographed ourselves and assigned that from tomorrow we start the competition. May 28, 2016 will be summarize. I intend to do daily records of what I eat and what I am doing to win the competition.

Who wants to join and participate in the competition?

  • Take a photo of yourself: front, side and back view
  • Measure your parameters: the size of the chest, waist and hips
  • Measure your weight
  • Measure your height
  • Start to change yourself!
  • Make records for youself what you are doing for to get in shape.

The last two weeks the circumstances evolved so that I did not have time to look after myself properly. As a result a few days of training was missed, but there are positive signs. I need to summarize the past two weeks and put new tasks for the next week.

Results on the sixth and seventh weeks of working out:

  • Time of running: about 60-63 minutes.
  • I managed to reduce meat consumption by eating soybeans.
  • To date, I have the following parameters: breast — 94 cm, waist – 72 cm, hips – 102.

Process of losing weight slowed down, probably due to missed days and because I ceased to perform additional exercises in the last week.

I didn’t even have a time for to blink the eye, it is time to summarize results for fifth week of my weight loss! I do not even believe in that I’ve been doing it so long. And it seems that it is nothing complicated yet, but the effect is noticeable! The gradual introduction of new healthy habits — was right decision for me. No languishing muscle pain or immeasurable fatigue! If I was trying everything at once to do — I would feel all these pleasures in my own skin and would have abandoned the idea of losing weight and staying healthy.

Results of the five weeks of work on myself:

  • Length of runs: 42-43 minutes.
  • I increased the number of executions of additional exercises: side bends (40 times each) , turning the upper body (40 times in each direction) , the rotation of the shoulders (30 times forward and 30 times back), move legs to the side (30 times each), back and forth (30 times), squats on chair (30 times).
  • I introduced additional exercises for the neck (5 times).
  • This week I changed my diet a little bit: reduced consumption of eggs and meat, at the evening instead of a hearty dinner I dispensed only with fruits and juices.
  • Today I have the following parameters: breast size — 94 cm, waist – 73 cm, hips – 103, ie compared with the previous week, I dropped by 2 centimeters at the hips and chest, although after the first week it was steadily decreased only 1 cm. Probably it is results of the increasing a jogging time and the number of additional exercises.

A month has passed since I started my experiment on losing weight — are you wonder how do I look now? I personally was very interesting 🙂 I took pictures of myself again, and frankly, the results have pleased me. But first it is necessary to summarize of what has been achieved during this month.

By the way, I noticed that the summing-up is important to maintain a desire to workout. Daily debriefing helps to understand what prevents you to move on, and just allows you to watch yourself. Weekly debriefing shows that you are moving in the right direction. Monthly gives a great positive energy, especially when the results are visible and very different from the start point.
