Recipe: broccoli in the garlic sauce

For those who likes to survive by snacking, boiled sausages and etc, I advise you to try out recipe from broccoli: firstly it is healthy, and secondly it will be easier to transfer on it because it is fast to cook, and the dish is tasty!

Health benefits of broccoli:
Broccoli – contains a unique complex of vitamins and minerals, but also has the ability to fight cancer and peptic ulcer. Due to the vast range of physiologically active substances, broccoli especially recommended for people with heart failure and disorders for the nervous system. Also, broccoli is considered one of the beast means of sclerotic.

What vitamins are found in broccoli:

  • Vitamin C – provides immune protection and stabilization of the psyche, broccoli contains vitamin C in 2.5 times more than in citrus.
  • Vitamin PP – is involved in protein and carbohydrate metabolism , stimulates secretion of gastric juice .

How to prepare broccoli:
The taste of broccoli is very similar to cauliflower, but has a more spicy and tangy flavor . It can be boiled, stewed, fried, oven, bring to the table with sour cream, butter and bread crumbs . Broccoli use to cook soups, stews, added to salads .

To save palatability of broccoli, follow one simple rule – do not overcook. Broccoli florets enough to blanch and do not cook in boiling water. Boiled or steam cabbage can be used for salads or fillings , and fresh or blanched – in pasta sauces or casseroles .

Broccoli recipe with garlic sauce.

Boil broccoli in plain or salted water until tender. While broccoli boiled prepare the sauce.

Ingredients for the garlic sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • greens or herbs,
  • 1 clove of garlic,
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking of the garlic sauce:
On the pan fry 2tablespoons of vegetable oil with 2 tablespoons of flour. into the flour with oil pour a hot water and cabbage decoction, stirring constantly the sauce until thickened. Then add salt, pepper and add the chopped garlic, chopped dried or fresh herbs.

Boiled broccoli put on a plate and pour the garlic sauce. Simply delicious !

Results for today:


  • Apple
  • Salad (tomatoes, avocado, lettuce, spices, olive oil), fried egg, 1 glass of black currant juice, vitamin .
  • Broccoli in garlic sauce, 1 glass of black currant juice.
  • 1 glass of water
  • Fried fish, potatoes, lettuce, slice tomatoes, 1 glass of passion fruit juice.

Aerobic exercise:

  • 41 minutes of running.
  • 12 minutes of brisk walking .
  • Additional Exercises: side bends (20 times each), turning the upper body (20 times in each direction), move legs to the side (20 times each , forward and back (20 times), squats (20 times)
